Who wants fake Primark?
If you even want Primark at all?
Well, in downtown Dubai (not unlike downtown São Paulo where apparently 90% of goods on 25 de Março are fakes) you will find a fake Primark. Not so much as fake but rather unofficial and Associated British Foods, the parent company of Primark is not amused.
I assume because of a lack of control and profits rather than damage to the brand - sandwiched between all that desirable bling by the likes of Marc Jacobs and Luis Vuitton - sounds just like their concession in Selfridges, London.
Is cheap, fast fashion going to take over the world? Let’s hope not.
Another though? Can one (or a brand) complain about being copied, when their business model is based on copying. Ahem, sorry. I don’t been copying, rather finding inspiration.
